PTA continues to be the largest advocacy group for children in the world. Our commissioners will present on the bills that Utah PTA is following during the 2019 Utah Legislative Session to all PTA members.

Registration is open to all PTA Members, Superintendents, Principals, Teachers, and anyone else interested in learning about how PTA legislates for all children and how to work with our State Legislators.

Cost:

Early Registration: $15 / Member WITH lunch -- $10/Member WITHOUT lunch
                               $50 / Non-Member WITH lunch

On-site registration: $15 / Member WITHOUT lunch
                                 $50 / Non-Member WITHOUT lunch
(There is a cafeteria located in the Senate Building on the east side of the complex)


Schedule:

  8:30 - On-site registration opens
  9:00 - 11:15 - General Meeting
11:15 - 12:00 - Q&A with Commissioners, Tours, and Gallery Time
12:00 -   2:00 - Lunch with Legilsators - Regions will separate into assigned rooms
  2:00 - House floor time to observe the High Expectations for All Students resolution on the House floor


Lunch Selections:

Sandwiches - Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef, Veggie - Gluen free: Turkey or Roast Beef
All lunches will include a dill pickle and water bottle


Location:

Registration and the General meeting will be held in the State Office Bulding Auditorium which is in the building on the NORTH side of the State Capitol Complex (see map attached below)


Parking:

Parking at the Capitol is EXTREMELY limited while the legislature is in session. We STRONGLY encourage you to take advantage of public transportation and give yourself plenty of travel/walking time.

Student Tracks are for students in Middle/Junior High and High School.

Students can attend either day. There is a limit of 300 students per day. Register now to save your spot!

Cost:

$12 for each Students and Chaperone - lunch is included with the cost


Check-in/Registration:

8:15 - 9:00 AM at the Auditorium


Registration Information and Instructions:

   1.  See link below to print off registration form (each day has its own form)
   2.  List all students and chaperones including grade and lunch preference
   3.  Include payment with form and mail to the Utah PTA offce
