Who Needs To Be Recognized At Your School?

UTAH PTA AWARDS PROGRAM FOR 2012

 

UTAH PTA is proud to spotlight and honor exceptional programs and PTA’s that are doing outstanding things on behalf of ourchildren.  Every school should have an awards program that mirrors the awards that are offered at the state level.This is a wonderful way to show appreciation as well as tell people about thegreat things that are happening and the people who are making them happen. We strongly encourage you to review the awards that can be applied for and to sendyour applications to your Region Directors so that they can be considered for state awards.  Deadlines are soon approaching!! Awards are due to council on January 20th and toRegion on February 3.  Some of the awards come with cash awards and all are recognized at the state convention.  Please help us share your wonderful ideas with other PTA’s as well as to get attention to your school.  We also work with the Television and Radio Stations to tell the wonderful PTA stories that are out there.

 

Please also consider applying for the Golden AppleAwards.  These are fabulous awards that really help us spotlight our great teachers and volunteers.  KUED television comes out to spend an entire day filming at the school of the winners. The vignettes are then played and replayed many times throughout the following year.  You can see some of the past Golden Apple Awards winners by going to the link below.
