Throughout our world's history perfection has been a vastly researched concept. Renowned artists and scientists such as Leonardo Di Vinci have toyed with its secrets. In this artwork I wanted to portray myself and the truth of reality vs. perfection. The aged paper represents the history of perfection and how it still influences us today. The bright paint shows how I can accept my imperfections and enjoy the moments of true beauty on the earth. We can all turn away from the ideals of perfection rooted deeply in our past and enjoy the beauty all around us and in us.
