Bridger Pedroza - Accepting Autism

Artist Statement

Ryker was diagnosed with autism when he was two. Ryker was normal and when we came back from vacation he was different. He had a blanket carried around. He was scared to be alone. He would only watch Octonauts on repeat. He would set up inside obstacle courses and run them on repeat across the couch, launch to the other couch, under the plastic slide, down the hall. Ryker didn't stay close in public and he wasn't afraid of strangers or getting lost. And he was so fast. I am glad my brother Sky was in charge of catching him.
