I was so excited to be accepted in the advanced welding program senior year. I first tried welding last year and decided I wanted to learn this trade as my profession. I have learned so much and I took this self portrait to remember what it was like starting out. I made a lot of mistakes. But I learned from my imperfections and I grew from practice. The light of the welder reminds me of the fire within.
