When we look in a mirror, oftentimes, all we see are flaws. We try to cover up our imperfections and change ourselves. Doing this can be detrimental to our wellbeing. Every person is a beautiful, worthy, and unique soul. To accept imperfection, treat the person staring back at you through the mirror as someone you love. Don’t look at yourself to find all the things you want to hide and critique - look, and choose to act like you love them. Living as you are is better than covering up parts of yourself that society deems to be imperfect.
