I have autism. when I was younger I hated feeling different and didn't want to go to school anymore. One day I ran out of the school. While my mom was comforting me a locust flew by. She said locust were different from because they have wings. She asked if the locust would give up flying to be like the grasshoppers, Autism was like that it made me special and would I give that up to be like everyone else? I'm not perfect but like the locust wings the gift of Autism my imperfection helps me fly.
