My quiet, reserved, daughter has been in Mrs. Ingram's sixth grade class this year. She has grown so much under her care. She has friends, enjoys sharing her talents, and feels that her classroom is a safe place. My daughter has ADHD, so her lack of focus sometimes makes it hard for her to catch minor details or understand explanations in class, but Mrs. Ingram is always happy to answer questions and work with me so my daughter has a great experience in sixth grade. She has encouraged me as well. Through parent teacher conferences and emails, she really listens to my concerns and questions.

Mrs. Ingram's love of the students is apparent in every thing that she does. She encourages the kids to put themselves out there, to try hard at making friends, and share their talents. She understands that next year they'll be in Junior High and the difficulties that new year will present and actively works to make sure the kids are prepared. The year has been full of fun activities that have really stretched my daughter in the best ways, from the Egyptian project to the Medieval Feast, where she was selected among her peers to be the queen--truly the culminating event of my daughter's school experience.
