What Can PTA Do For You?

Utah PTA is a strong voice for children. It is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in Utah. Children cannot speak for themselves, but we can be advocates for them. We advocate by participating in the legislative process and by having commissioners serve on statewide committees that make decisions affecting children.

National PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States. It is a nonprofit association for parents, educators, students, and other citizens active in their schools and communities. PTA is a powerful voice for all children and a relevant resource for parents in the education, health, and welfare of children and youth. Visit the website at pta.org.

In order to appreciate its value and to make PTA an even more influential force, members should be informed about how their dues are used, as well as the benefits which come from belonging to Utah and National PTA.
