Battle of the Bands
State Battle of the Bands Competition will be held April 14th at 7pm at Midvale Middle School.

PRIZES
All participating bands will receive a t-shirt.
The top three bands will receive studio time, CD’s, and an opportunity to play at a REAL Salt Lake game, as well as additional prizes.
The first place band also wins an opportunity to create a live concert video shoot at MusicGarage.org.
New this year to Battle of the Bands is Tilly's, MusicGarage.org, and Beau. We are excited to be working with them and feel they will be a great asset to our program.
The top three bands in each multi-region are invited to attend this special performance workshops:
Information and registration will be given to the top three bands at the Multi-level Competitions.
STAGECRAFT WORKSHOP, March 31st at 1pm - $10 per musician, or $40 per band.
A two hour workshop that will take bands through the vital on-stage techniques to succeed at Battle of the Bands. Includes demonstration and local celebrity appearances.
ON-STAGE FULL-BAND WORKSHOPS, By appointment only - $65 per band
A one hour, On-Stage Workshop for your band with music producer Steve Auerbach on the MusicGarage.org Stage. Bands can bring their equipment or use MusicGarage.org's equipment to perform their selections for Battle of the Bands that will be reviewed with coaching from a music producer who has staged over 400 youth in over 250 concerts in Utah.
WILD CARD ENTRY
If your band did not qualify for the state competition “The Truth” will be sponsoring a wild card competition. To be eligible for the wild card, the band uploads one of their songs to www.TRUTHAgainstTobacco.com, then you can go online and vote for your favorite band. Upload your music on March 19th-April 6th. The band with the most votes will be notified by April 9th as the “wild card” entry.
