Impact on Children:

This bill requires websites with a substantial amount of material that contains "material harmful to minors" must age verify users before letting them in. This bill copies a Louisiana bill that has passed and gone into effect. The bill leaves this up to a third party to verify the age, and expressly states that the third party must destroy the identification after they have viewed it and verified the age.
