Mrs. Alcorn took a break from teaching and came back during the fall of 2020- the most unprecedented, unsure year for parents, students, and teachers. I was so nervous about sending my little kindergartner to a new school, in a mask, trying to make friends and learn a new environment. I couldn't have sent him off to anyone better than Mrs. Alcorn. She calmed all of my fears, sincerely loves all of her students, and is truly like their mother at school. My son(s) have thrived and learned so much from Mrs. Alcorn. She is patient, kind, and there is no one else I'd rather my children experience their first year of school with. LOVE her.
