How do you teach orchestra during a pandemic? I don’t know, but Mr. Munro at South Jordan Middle has done it! For the past three years my child has been in orchestra with Mr. Munro. From fast and furious transitions to online learning, recording in class performances for parents to “attend” an online concert, returning to in person full concerts and then pivoting back to online again! What a way to spend his last years of teaching before retiring! He is the best orchestra teacher in the district and we will miss him at our school next year. Thank you Mr. Munro not only for these past 3 crazy years, but all the many, many years of excellence before that.
