SEPTEMBER: “Early Bird Award” (No application necessary)
Any PTA submitting 50% of the previous year’s membership to Utah PTA postmarked by September 25th will be eligible to win! PTAs who have met the criteria will receive a digital badge and be entered into a drawing for a buy one, get one free registration to the Utah PTA Leadership Convention. (2 winners)
OCTOBER: “On Target Award” (No application necessary)
Any PTA submitting 75% of the previous year’s membership to Utah PTA postmarked by October 25th will be eligible to win! PTAs who have met the criteria will receive a digital badge and be entered into a drawing for a buy one, get one free registration to the Utah PTA Leadership Convention (2 winners).
NOVEMBER: “Trailblazer Award” (No application necessary)
Any PTA submitting 100% + 1 of the previous year’s membership to Utah postmarked by November 25th will be eligible to win! PTAs who have met the criteria will receive a digital badge and be entered into a drawing for a buy one, get one free registration to the Utah PTA Leadership Convention (2 winners).
DECEMBER: “Beehive Award” (No application necessary)
Any PTA submitting 10% over the previous year’s membership to Utah PTA postmarked by December 25th will be eligible to win! PTAs who have met the criteria will receive a digital badge and be entered into a drawing for a PTA tablecloth - your choice of color (2 winners).
JANUARY: “What is Your PTA Story?”
Open to all PTA members. Submit your own personal story to Utah PTA about how you became involved in PTA and why you think it is important for all parents! Deadline March 1st. Stories will be featured on Utah PTA Social Media and you may be invited to share your story at Leadership Convention in May. One winner will be chosen to receive a PTA Messenger Bag. FEBRUARY: “We {heart} PTA” Contest (No application necessary)
Given to PTAs that share the love of PTA with 14 new members! February is a great time to launch a “We {heart} PTA” or a “Be a Sweetheart and Buy a PTA Membership” Campaign. Any PTA submitting 14 or more new memberships to Utah PTA postmarked by February 25th will be eligible to win! PTAs must have submitted PTA memberships prior to January 25th to be eligible. PTAs who have met the criteria will receive a digital badge and be entered into a drawing for a buy one, get one free registration to the Utah PTA Leadership Convention (2 winners).
CENTENNIAL MEMBERSHIP AWARDS (No application necessary)
- "100 Year Visionary Award"
Add 100 more members in the 2025-26 (or double your membership if you had under 100 members) over the 2024-25 total to qualify for this award. The deadline to join the Visionary Club is March 1, 2026. All qualified local PTAs will receive a Digital Badge and be entered into a drawing for buy one, get one free registration to the Utah PTA Leadership Convention. (5 winners).
- "Utah PTA Centennial Unit"
Every unit that has 100 memberships paid to the state office by October 25, 2025, will be recognized as a Utah PTA Centennial Unit. All qualified local PTAs will receive a Digital Badge and a Centennial Banner.
END OF YEAR AWARDS (Applications due March 1st)

“Super Teachers & Staff Award”
Awarded to any local PTA that has 100% membership of its full-time faculty, administration, and office staff. PTAs who have met the criteria will receive a digital badge and a buy one, get one free registration to the Utah PTA Leadership Convention.
- “MARS (Men are Really Super) Award”
Awarded to local PTAs whose PTA membership has at least 40% male members, including fathers, grandfathers, and male community members. PTAs who have met the criteria will receive a digital badge and a buy one, get one free registration to the Utah PTA Leadership Convention.
- “Super PTSA”
Awarded to any local PTSA with 40% or more student membership. PTSAs who have met the criteria will be recognized and receive a digital badge and 5 buy one, get one free registrations to the Student Leadership Convention.
- “Award of Excellence in Membership Promotion”
Awarded to two local PTAs that exhibit excellence in promoting PTA membership through an innovative, comprehensive, and successful membership recruitment campaign. Winners will receive a digital badge and a $100 donation to their PTA.
- “A Voice for Every Child”
Awarded to local PTAs who have at least 3 elected officials join their PTA and complete the online application by March 1st. PTAs will receive the "A Voice For Every Child" digital badge and be entered into a drawing for a buy one, get one free registration to the Utah PTA Leadership Convention. (2 winners)
- “Double Your Membership”
Awarded to any local PTA whose PTA membership is at least 100% over last year’s total membership by February 25th. PTA must have been organized and in good standing for the current and previous year before the due date to be considered for the award. PTAs who have met the criteria will be recognized, receive a digital badge, and a goodie bag.
