Author Matthew Kelly said, “Be the best version of yourself,” and I think that also ties into, “I belong”. Belonging means having something in common with others. Everyone has at least one similarity to someone else, whether you both love ice cream or have a sister. Belonging also means it is ok to have differences and you should be proud of them. I chose the song This Is Me because it’s about being proud of who you are and not trying to be someone else. It reminds me to always be myself and be “the best version of yourself.”
