I chose to make this film because some people think they don't belong because of what they do or don't do or like or don't like. Belonging is something you convince yourself of. Once you decide you belong, other people will believe it too. I decided to show that even in places where I have a different opinion and might not seem like I fit in, I can still belong. I chose to end with "The Best Gift is You!" mural, because even though you might think different or look different or speak different, you still belong. We all do!
