Belonging brings joy, and in our chaotic world, everyone deserves to feel that they belong. The Festival uses an orchestra to capture this feeling of acceptance and happiness. Writing music is similar to world-building for a story, and in this piece, each instrument belongs and makes a vital contribution to the overall sound. Similarly, each of us belongs in our world, and the world needs what we have to offer. When we reach out and help others to know that they are important and that they belong, the world is a little more joyful and a lot more complete.
