The game of golf is played one stroke at a time. The goal is to get one ball into one hole in as few strokes as possible. But to me, it’s more than a one-person game. As a ninth grader, I worried about finding my place. I made the high school team, and they've taught me that I’m not alone out here. In this photo, it looks like me standing by myself, but it's actually me standing with my team. They make me want to be better, both on and off the course. I know I belong here.
