My painting shows a lighthouse shining over the ocean at night. I made it because it reminds me of finding my way home. I’m new at my school, and sometimes I feel lost, but I know I belong when I get home to my family. The lighthouse light is like home. it guides me and makes me feel safe and warm. It reminds me that even if I’m in a new place, I’ll always have somewhere I belong.
