Designing and making jewelry makes me feel like I belong because it connects me to something bigger than myself. When I am creating, I feel connected to a community where I can express myself through my wearable art. Every piece I create reflects a part of me, my thoughts, my moods, and how I view the world creatively. Seeing my pieces worn helps me feel appreciated and understood. My creative outlet of cutting, melting, and shaping raw materials into something meaningful is a place where I don't have to explain who I am because I know I just belong.
