While we can’t know what it’s like to be someone else, ‘The End of Forever’ imagines that reality. Experiencing every emotion, hardship, and identity, until it all blends together. The character spends all their time being everyone else, and realizes too late they wish they could’ve spent that time living freely. When we waste our time pretending to be something else we forget the things that make us human. The question isn’t if we belong, rather it’s how can we cultivate our favorite version of ourselves. Trusting we already belong, we have the valuable opportunity to explore our full potential.
