In my artwork, there are three hearts, each one altered. The first heart shown is a regular heart showing common traits. The second heart shown is meant to resemble a heart that has endured rough times with stitches and cuts. The last heart is multicolored to represent standing out. This relates to the theme because as humans were all made with the same base, just altered just like each heart. The reason they are connected is that we connect with the people we love, no matter how different we are. There will always be somebody who you will belong with.
