I made this animation to showcase what it feels like not to belong when you need it most. My animation tells the story of a girl who has been left out by all the other kids, but eventually finds a place to belong. It's an experience everyone has been through and can relate to. The girl in my story finds people who can light up her world when she's in an especially dark place and welcome her with open arms, and that's what we can all do to make others feel a sense of belonging.
