My work explores what it means to grow up as a Polynesian female in a predominantly white area and find what it means to belong. Through storytelling, I reclaim identity as something fluid this is shaped by my heritage, memory, and resistance. Where difference becomes strength and presence becomes art. My voice carries the rhythm of the ocean and the resilience of my ancestors. I do not seek to fit in, but to expand the space around me, to show that belonging is not about conformity, but about creation, courage and carrying home within yourself.
