Ruby Ence - Eye Belong

“ Belonging” is defined as fitting in or being accepted. The hardest part about this theme is that to many kids (like me) it means if you don’t fit in, you don’t belong. Fitting in can feel really hard in life. In my picture the word belong is in the middle of the eye. This represents being accepted by others. We want others to see that we belong. This is kind of a sad response, but I wanted to be honest. We want to belong in the eyes of others. I belong when I feel other people’s acceptance of me.
