My picture is called "Clear in the Murk," and it’s about finally feeling stable. “I Belong" means finding a place where I don't have to try to be someone else—I can just be the real me.
I used my reflection in the dark wetland water. Even though the water was dark, it still clearly mirrored me. The reflection showed me that when my own thoughts get confusing, I should look at reliable things around me—like my shoes and my watch—to know I'm standing exactly where I need to be. I belong here because the real me is the clear image.
