I Belong Here Media Artist Statement Let’s break the word BELONG down to the two words - BE and LONG. BE means I allow all of myself to be here. I don't have doubts. As I dance, the shapes of my body fill the space on the dance floor. I am where I am meant to be. LONG means that my soul longs to express my emotions through dance. I long for my audience to feel like they are a part of my dance. I long to be here. I belong here on the dance floor! I BELONG here!
