Mrs. Johnston helped me figure out what I wanted in life. All of high school I didn’t know what I wanted to do I really struggled in school and wasn’t sure that I would be able to go to college. She introduced me to what a CDA (Child Development Associate) she helped me my senior year while TAing for her class start the steps of getting this certification. After high school I went on to work at a daycare and finish getting my CDA after two years of being the lead teacher of two year olds. Now at 21 I just became the director of a daycare with about 180 kids. Mrs. Johnston is the reason I am where I am. Without her help and her guiding me to where I wanted to go I wouldn’t be where I am in my job or education.
