Miss Kitchen is one in a million. She looks out for her students and helps them to succeed and become the best version of themselves. She has taught for years and has given herself completely to her classroom. During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, she called individual students to check in and see how they were doing to offer her help to help them better understand their schoolwork, etc. Last year, she would go to the doorsteps of the home-schooled students and help them complete their school work by working with them on the porch of their homes. This year will be her final year before retirement and she is still going just as strong as ever. She never looks for the recognition, but she deserves it more than words can describe!
