My daughter was lucky to have Mr. Erb two years in a row (4th & 5th) at Spring Lane Elementary. She took to him right away and, over the two years, consistently talked about how he was nice AND serious. How he was encouraging AND demanding. He has high expectations of his students and helps them to achieve their goals in a way that is encouraging, empowering, and fun. My daughter is in 6th grade, now, and she credits a lot of her comfort in a bigger school with older kids with the challenging support she got from Mr. Erb.
